About the Role
We’re accelerating the pace of mineral discovery. Our AI drill targeting software has gone 8 for 8 hitting mineralized targets, a significant improvement over industry standards. Now we’re building the platform that puts it in the hands of the biggest mining companies in the world. In this role, you’ll own features end to end, from a rough idea in the field to production software that explorers rely on.
This is not a CRUD app – you’ll build software that’s used in rugged and remote parts of the world. You’ll write code that moves terabytes of geoscience data, renders 3D earth models in the browser, and keeps working when the internet doesn’t. What You’ll Do
- Build web applications for data storage, 2D mapping, and 3D data visualization
- Build mobile applications that work offline in remote locations
- Develop APIs and data pipelines for mineral exploration data
- Build features for agentic AI systems that automate exploration workflows
- Contribute to the compute infrastructure that runs large-scale parallelized physics simulations
- Ship fast, test with real users, and iterate based on what geologists tell you
- Support mineral exploration teams during field campaigns
About You
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience, with at least one product you shipped and owned
- Fluent in Python and Javascript/Typescript, and comfortable picking up Go (or similar languages)
- Obsessed with usability: you’ve built interfaces people use in difficult conditions
- Able to travel to remote parts of the US and world
