ExploreTech at Current Trends in Mining Finance

ExploreTech co-founder Tyler Hall moderated two dynamic panels at the Current Trends in Mining Finance annual conference, hosted by the New York section of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration.

Joined by industry experts Atusa Sadeghi, Hugo Schumann, Chad Williams P. Eng, and Kai Hoffmann, Tyler moderated the session “New Capital in Mining: What Works, What’s Next, and What About Silicon Valley?”.

The following day, Tyler moderated “The Goal is Reducing Cost and Increasing Productivity: How Does AI and Technology Play a Role?”. This panel featured Emily King, Peter Weaver, David Lawie, David Wesson, and David Roy-Guay.

Both panels sparked lively discussions, both during and after the event, highlighting the evolving landscape of mining finance and technology. (SME) New York Section, and A&O Shearman.

CTMF2024 featured numerous insightful sessions, with standout presentations by Grand Chief Mandy Gull-Masty, Cynthia Urda Kassis, and Zack Valdez, Ph.D., who led a delegation from the US Government.
